He took up his first Consultant post in Leicester in 2001moving in 2011 to his Sheffield where he is the Lead for Surgical Oncology and Trauma. - [Will Smith](https://airwaystories.com/will-smith/): Will Smith is a medical student currently completing his rotations in New York.  When Will isn’t studying, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters and he is also the host of “The Lost in PreMed Podcast” (@LostInPreMed), a podcast geared towards premed students. Will shares a very emotional story of a patient experience that he had when he was first starting out on his path to medical school.  To this day, this story still helps fuel Will’s passion for emergency medicine and he hopes that by sharing it, others will be be inspired too.

Doors open at 7pm. Don’t miss it!! As always, the event is free and open to anyone who wants to drop by for a great time.

- [Airway Goes to the Rockies!](https://airwaystories.com/airway-goes-to-the-rockies/): In September, Airway made its first foray into Mile High City telling stories with some of the greatest ER docs in the Front Range.  Residents and faculty from the U of Colorado programs got together for an excellent evening of storytelling.
